Grandmaster Vitaly Kunin plays the Kronborg Chess Open

GM Vitaly Kunin, moved to Germany in 2001. Now 40 years old, he has been a Grandmaster (GM) since 2006. With a current rating of 2522 and a peak rating of 2595, Kunin’s chess prowess is undeniable. He is the reigning German Champion, a testament to his skill and dedication to the game.

Achievements and Accolades

Over the years, Kunin has accumulated an impressive list of achievements. He was crowned the Champion of Germany in 2023, a significant milestone in any chess player’s career. His participation in the World Cup 2017 and securing a place between 4-14 in the European Championship 2017 further highlight his competitive spirit and skill.
