Spar Nord Helsingør supports locally

Kronborg Chess Open is Denmark’s largest international chess tournament, and once again this year, Spar Nord Helsingør has chosen to be one of the sponsors. This support is part of the bank’s commitment to promoting local communities and culture. Customer advisor Robert M. Mesange, who is an avid chess player himself, states: “It is important for us at Spar Nord to support local initiatives and associations, as we are part of this community ourselves. It is fantastic to be able to support the passionate people who organize a chess tournament that attracts so many participants from all over the world.”

Junior Kronborg Master 2025

Junior Kronborg Master is an annual chess tournament for young players up to 20 years old, organized by Helsingør Chess Club. Spar Nord Helsingør has also chosen to support this tournament, contributing to creating a platform for young talents and strengthening the community among the city’s youth. The tournament is known for attracting many participants and creating a festive atmosphere where young chess players can meet and compete. This year, the tournament is being held for the 10th time, which also marks the 10th anniversary of the restart of junior chess in Helsingør Chess Club.
